The Tucumcari Daughters of the American Revolution chapter honored veterans and active military Personnel Sunday with a program on at Veteran’s Park.

Heather Massey sang the national anthem as the colors were posted by VFW Post 2528, followed by talks from Mayor Jim Witcher and Chris Carl from the Conchas Dam Legion Riders. Poems and stories were read by chapter members. Following the laying of the wreath, the program closed with taps played by Harold Sloan.
