On Oct. 25, House Junior High, after plenty of practice, competed against itself at the House Chapter Creed Contest. After this local competition, the group had the chance to go to Portales on Nov. 1 and compete in the District Creed Contest. The following students competed and placed in the Junior High Creed Contest as follows:

Trenton Lee, second place

Koby Valentine, fifth place

Summer Huizar, eighth place

Wyatt Bishop, tenth place

Kayleigh Fury and Casey Price also competed in the contest. Valentine and Lee placed in the top five and will be competing at state in Albuquerque on Feb. 12.
