Two students from the Quay area are candidates for graduation from Eastern New Mexico University in Portales this fall.  Commencement is on Dec. 11 in Greyhound Arena.

They are: Robert S. Hoefer, bachelor of science in history and anthropology with distinction; and Raynee Rachor-Wallin, bachelor of science in elementary education.

Summa cum laude requires a minimum grade point average of 3.8; magna cum laude, 3.7; cum laude, 3.6; and with distinction, 3.5.

Offering over 69 majors leading to associate's, bachelor's and master's degrees, ENMU had a record enrollment of 5,080 this fall.
