Cake walk will help raise funds

There will be a benefit cake walk at 1 p.m., Sunday at the Knights of Columbus. This is a fundraiser for Felice Trujillo-Cepeda. She was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder called acute porphyria. All proceeds will be used to help with expenses for doctors' visits and medication. The community is invited to come, support Felice and win a delicious dessert. For more information call 403-5678.

VFW post hosts Sunday breakfast

VFW Post 2528 Ladies and Men Auxiliary will host a pancake breakfast every Sunday in February from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 105 E. Main St. The meal includes two pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, and drink. Cost is $6.
