Methodist church to host event

“Christ in the Passover” is an event at which Ruth Rosen of Jews for Jesus will set a table with items traditionally used at the Passover meal and detail their spiritual significance. She will explain the connection between the events of the first Passover in Egypt and the redemption that Jesus accomplished. Ruth will be happy to answer questions after the presentation.

The event takes place on Monday, April 11 at 6:30 p.m. at Center Street United Methodist Church, 406 E. Center St. in Tucumcari.

Freedom New Mexico hosts bracket contest

Freedom New Mexico is hosting an NCAA March Madness bracket tournament. Log on to http://fnm.bracketbreakdown.com/ to register. Prizes include $1 million for up to one perfect bracket. The game winner will receive a trip for two to Jamaica.
