The Clovis Wildcats will take on La Cueva in a Class 5A quarterfinal playoff game at 7 p.m. Friday at Leon Williams Stadium. La Cueva (8-3), the sixth seed, beat 11th-seeded Alamogordo 34-13 on Friday night in Albuquerque. Clovis (7-3) lost an earlier meeting to the Bears 26-21 in Albuquerque.
