Texico senior setter Bryn Mayfield was named player of the year and coach Mike Littlejohn coach of the year on the New Mexico High School Coaches Association Class 2A all-state squad. The Lady Wolverines went 25-0 this season in capturing their second consecutive state title. Representing Texico on the first team with Mayfield were sophomore outside hitter Victoria Richards, junior outside hitter Jaryse Harris and senior defensive specialist Faith Martin. Sophomore outside hitter Shay Anderson, senior middle blocker Brooke Bailey and senior middle blocker Katlin Luscombe were second-team choices.
