GRADY — Averaging better than 22 points a quarter, the Dora Coyotes snagged an easy win in Grady Thursday, defeating the Bronchos 91-52. Dora bolted out of the gates with 27 points in the first quarter, then went up 49-28 by the half. “They (Grady) wanted the tempo to be up, so we scored 27 in the first quarter,” Dora coach Ty Thatcher said. “That is kind of the game we want to play anyway.” Four Coyotes scored in double figures, with Sadler Hair leading the pack with 20. Wesley Skelley scored 18, Kyler Smith had 17 and Hector Fierro hit for 15. “We came out and played pretty well offensively,” Thatcher said. “I was pleased with our overall performance. We can always find things that need to be better though.” Grady was led by Brian Blackburn with 23 points and Seth Thomas with 16. The 6-3 Coyotes are off until the start of the EPAC Tournament next week.
