HOBBS — The Clovis track teams pulled off a pair of victories Thursday at Hobbs.

The Wildcat boys got seven state-qualifying marks, and a new school record en route to a 102-point day, easily besting Hobbs (79) and Lovington (54.5.)

Moses Bibbs and Richie Chavez each won two events, and Izzy Miranda posted a time of 9:42.2 in the 3,200 to break the CHS record.

In girls competition, senior Meagan Baglien took state-qualifying marks in winning both the discus and shot put, as the team scored 98 points to top Carlsbad (86).

Lainey Flatow jumped 5-4 in the high jump for a personal best, and Antiesha Brown won both the triple jump and long jump.
