Tucumcari and Logan clashed over the weekend, adding a loss to the Rattlers’ column and scoring the first win for the Lady Longhorns. San Jon lost to Melrose 0-3 and beat Roy 3-2. Tucumcari beat Elida 3-2 and lost to Logan 2-3. House lost to Vaughn 0-3. Logan lost to Santa Rosa 0-3 and beat Tucumcari 3-2.

Stars: Ashley Muncy and Whitney Cordova each had two aces, Nicole Collins had six kills and three blocks and Christen Landrey had nine digs for the Lady Longhorns against Tucumcari.
