The San Jon Coyotes are counting on a big season from senior quarterback Bobby Benally.

• Biggest hole(s) to fill: "We will have seven to eight players," coach Foust said. "Of those only three have previous football experience."

• Biggest early-season test: "Our opening game is against Valley Christian Academy followed by Hondo," coach Foust said. "Both of the teams are state championship caliber teams."

• Keys to 2010 season: Foust said staying injury free is important with low numbers on the team. Our returning players will need to play big and Bobby Benally, the team captain will need to lead the team. Thompson needs to be our big pressure on defense. Jacob Benally needs to continue developing into a big time weapon on offense.

• Coach’s overview: "We have a hard working group of players who make practice every day," Foust said.
