• Coach: Mike Prokop (1st year, 0-0; 1st year overall at Farwell). Prokop posted an 81-25 record in 10 seasons at Texico, winning three small-school titles in New Mexico.

• Coach’s overview: “The big thing is being disciplined and just learning how to win. We’re in a competitive district; everybody in our district (Bovina, Farwell, Nazareth, Springlake-Earth and Sudan) made the playoffs last year.”
