Recap: The Coyotes erased a nine-point halftime deficit, outscoring San Jon 36-24 in the second half.
Notes: Colton Gruis hit a 3-pointer just before halftime, cutting into a 12-point San Jon lead. Dora took the lead midway through the final period. … Dylan Crivett scored 10 of his team-high 20 points in the third quarter for Dora, while Kyler King added 12 of his 18 in the final stanza. Gruis also reached double figures for the Coyotes with 10 points. … Jacob Benally led San Jon with 28 points, followed by Chase Thompson with 14. … Dora cruised to a 73-11 win in the junior varsity preliminary.
