TEXICO — Senior guard Mandy Rush scored 24 points Thursday, leading the Grady Lady Bronchos to a 57-42 victory over Dora in an EPAC tournament girls consolation bracket game.

Grady (8-6) outscored the Lady Coyotes 20-12 in the second quarter to open a nine-point halftime lead.

Junior Aubrey Butler was the top scorer for Dora (8-5) with 11 points.

Elida 60, Floyd 41 — Senior Reavis Best and freshman Margarita Ortiz scored 14 points each to help the Lady Tigers knock off their nearby rival.

Elida (8-3) broke away from an 8-8 tie with a 16-6 domination of the second period. Best and Ortiz did all of their scoring in the first three quarters for Elida, which led 47-24 at that points.

Senior Tori Tucker went 7-for-7 from the free throw line and finished with 16 points for the Lady Bronchos (5-7). Freshman Tabitha Ornelas added 13 points.

Logan 59, Clovis Christian 11 — Eleven players contributed points as the Lady Longhorns cruised past CCS, holding the Lady Eagles scoreless with a running clock in the second half.

Junior Nicole Collins had 14 points for Logan (7-3). The Lady Eagles (0-7) were led by six points from Jessica Taylor.

Clayton 54, San Jon 6 — The Lady Jackets (8-3) opened a 17-0 lead at the quarter and had no trouble with San Jon.

Senior post Norma Vital finished with 19 points for Clayton. Three players had two points apiece for the Lady Coyotes (2-11).
