• Notes: The Broncos led most of the way, but Kit Pettigrew’s driving layup with 10 seconds left in regulation tied it 43-43. … Larkin Lindsey’s putback gave Floyd a 52-47 lead with 2:40 left in the first OT, but Pettigrew hit the second of two free throws with 1:23 to go to force a second OT. After a Floyd turnover with 10 seconds left, Pettigrew missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer. … Pettigrew put the Foxes ahead for good 56-54 in the second extra session. Blake Crenshaw’ 3-pointer and two free throws by Pettigrew extended the lead to eight in the final minute. … The win was Fort Sumner’s third over the Broncos this season, but each has been closer. The Foxes won at home 59-29 in December, then 50-35 in last week’s EPAC tournament. … Floyd’s J’Kobie Lee did not play after he was ejected from an EPAC game, while Fort Sumner’s Caleb West sat out due to a shoulder injury sustained in the EPAC championship game against Texico.
