Recap: The host Foxes broke the game open with a 21-8 run in the third quarter after Dora erased an early 13-0 deficit to tie the score midway through the second quarter.
Junior guards Skylar McMath and Kolter West scored 21 and 18 points, respectively, for Fort Sumner. The Foxes will play ififth-seeded Jal — a 73-53 winner over To’Haj a quarterfinal game at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at Bernalillo High School.
Junior Colton Gruis had four 3-pointers and finished with 18 points for the Coyotes, while junior Kyler King added 11.

Floyd 61, Coronado 53
Recap: The 11th-seeded Broncos fell behind 5-0, then scored the final 12 points of the first quarter and never relinquished the lead in winning at sixth-seeded Coronado.
Senior Justin Rogers scored 23 points for the Broncos, who face Springer — a 67-50 winner Saturday over McCurdy — in a 6:30 p.m. quarterfinal game on Wednesday at Bernalillo. Seniors J’Kobie Lee with 17 and Leon Mendoza with 11 also reached double figures for Floyd.
Coronado got 22 points from senior forward Jason Velasquez and 20 from senior guard Johnny Chavez.

Recap: The Coyotes scored six points in the final 20 seconds to erase a one-point deficit in a seesaw game.
Jacob Benally had 14 points and Chase Thompson 10 for San John. The Tiges were led by 10 points from Magin Montoya.
Both teams will find out today where they will be seeded in next week’s Class B state tournament.
