Beatrice LaVern Wilson Services: 2 p.m., Thursday in te Dunn Memorial Chapel. Beatrice LaVern Wilson, 69, died in Amarillo, Texas, at Baptist St. Anthony Hospice on Sunday Dec. 31, 2006. Mrs. Wilson was born May 3, 1937 in Tucumcari. She had been a home maker. Surviving Mrs. Wilson are four daughters: Judy (Joe) Callison of Tucumcari, Beverly (Ron) Laufer, and Cindy (Brian) Lindsey of Panhandle, Texas, Emma Morgan of Mesa, Ariz., her son Bob (Deborah) Helker of Panhandle, and 14 Grandchildren, 18 great- grandchildren, her brothers Roy (Brenda) McKinney of Tucumcari and Kenneth (Eulene) McKinney of Clovis N.M., her sister Elinora (Joe) Perez also of Tucumcari, and two sisters in law, Lucille of Bloomfield, N.M., and Tony of Tucumcari. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Leona and Floyd McKinney, and two brothers, Jimmie and Jerry McKinney. Pall Bearers will be Aaron McKinney, Kenny McKinney, J. J. Callison, Rick Newport, GabeElam and Jake Helker. Following the funeral services, the body will be cremated. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari. Donald R. Cain Services: 10 a.m., Thursday at Steed-Todd Chapel in Clovis with burial to follow at Hollene Cemetery. Donald R. Cain, 66, of Conchas Dam, N.M., died Friday, Dec. 29, 2006 after a long illness. Mr. Cain was born June 18, 1940 in Kaufman, Texas, to the late Tom and Jimmie Mae Cain. He married Anita Rierson on Feb. 22, 1959. Together they moved to Conchas Dam in 1996 from Albuquerque where he had retired after 26 years from PNM as chief mechanic. He is preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Survivors include his wife, Anita of Conchas Dam, children, Deanna (Les) Scarton of Albuquerque, Steve Cain of Rio Rancho, Jeff (Leslie) Cain of Longview, Texas, Ronnie Cain and girlfriend, Lorraine, of Conchas Dam, Cara (Peter) Gregory of Albuquerque, 10 grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Helping Hands Hospice, 615 South Second St., Tucumcari, NM 88401. Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis, N.M. Alan M. Arrowsmith Services: Tenatively set for 10 a.m., Friday morning at the Temple Baptist Church in Tucumcari. Alan M. Arrowsmith, 50, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006 following an extended illness. Mr. Arrowsmith was born March 12, 1956 in California, He was a member of the Temple Baptist Church of Tucumcari. He was a master chef and was a computer technician. Surviving Mr. Arrowsmith are two sons Michael of Tucumcari and Joseph of Tucson, Ariz., and two sisters, Amy Adams of Tucumcari and Gi Gi of San Bernadino, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents Glen B. and Patricia Arrowsmith. Wes Stewart, minister of the Temple Baptist Church, will officiate the services. Burial will follow in the family plot of the San Jon Cemetery at San Jon, N.M. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari. Retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. William F. Frick Services: Memorial Services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Tucumcari Retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. William F. Frick died, Saturday, Dec. 24, 2006 in Tucumcari. Mr. Frick, known as Bill to his many friends, was born June 20, 1915 in Tucumcari to Frederick L. and Hedwick C. Frick. He a graduated from the Tucumcari High School in 1933. He entered the New Mexico A&M College near Las Cruces in 1936; and following graduation, he joined the U.S. Air Force in August of 1941. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, the Korean Conflict and the"Cold War," retiring from active service in 1963. He was a member of the St. Michael's Episcopal Church. He also served on the Board of the Tucumcari Historical Research Institute and maintained his membership. He actively supported the Gideons. Following his wishes, Mr. Frick has been cremated. Gay Welborn, pastor of St. Michael's Episcopal Church, will officiate at the services. Interment of the cremains will follow the memorial service at the family plot at the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Honorary pall bearers will be retired Bridg. Gen. R. R. Reid, Lt. Col. Don Cihak, Lt. JG Bill Stratton, 1st Lt. Charles Marshall, Chief Warrant Officer Alvin Cawthon, Charles F. Dunn, Jodie Clavel Chester Gallagher, members of St. Michael's Episcopal Church, members of Masonic Lodge 27 AF& AM of Tucumcari and VFW Post2528 of Tucumcari.
