Norine L. Robertson

Norine L. Robertson, 103, died on Saturday, March 13, 2004 following an extended illness. Norine Robertson was born Sept. 27, 1900 in Portsmouth, Iowa. She had been an active member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church and was a charter member of the St. Vincent de Paul Organization, of the St. Anne’s Rosary Society, was a former member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She was also an avid bridge player. Mrs. Robertson was a graduate of Duke University where she received her teaching certification. She was also a retired public school teacher. She is survived by a daughter Janet Toy of Roswell and a granddaughter Dianne Sills (Eddie) of Midland, Texas. She is also survived by four great grandchildren of New Mexico and Texas. She is additionally survived by 10 great, great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Briggs Robertson in 1961. A rosary will be said today at 7 p.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. A Mass of resurrection will be offered on Thursday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Leo Padget officiating. Burial will follow at Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
