ENMU prof to speak at House ceremony

Nine House High School seniors will be officially graduating Friday at 7 p.m.
A noted professor and TV, radio announcer, Donald “Doc” Elder will deliver a motivational speech to the graduating seniors. Renee Carter, senior class sponsor, said Elder was invited because all the students are familiar with his radio broadcasts. “Doc Elder announces games for Eastern Mew Mexico University and many of the high schools throughout this part of New Mexico,” said Carter. “The athletes here at House love him because when he announces their games he makes them all feel like a star.”
Elder is also a professor of communications and journalism at ENMU. Elder will speak to the students after a number of special presentations are made.
The Class of 2004 for House High School includes: Aaron Elliott, Seth Webb, Jordan Jennings, Laura Bowlin, Hailey lee, Krista O’Steen, Priscilla Sepulveda, Walter Henson and Ashley Griggs.
