In memory of Artha Towner, who served as Superintendent of the Needlework Department for 15 years, the Quay County Association for Family and community Education (formerly Extension Homemakers) is offering a Memorial Award for the Best of Show in Knitting at the Quay County Fair. The winner will receive a plaque. To be eligible, the item must be entered in one of the Knitting Classes in the Needlework Department at the Fair on August 17.
