Tucumcari High School FFA has begun selling chili and according to FFA President Brandon Sower those people who want roasted chili should contact an FFA member or call the high school FFA building to order their chili. “But we’re not just selling them privately,” said Sower about the roasted vegetables, “but we’ll also be selling them at La Cita.” Sower said the Chili will be sold in both 35 pound bags and 18 pound bags. The larger ones will go for $!8 while the smaller ones will go for $9. According to Sower, the proceeds from the chili sale will go to help fund the Tucumcari State Champion Floriculture Team’s trip to nationals which are to be held in Louisville on Oct. 25-30. “We’ll also use the funds for other activities we have planned,” said the FFA president.
