The Tucumcari Historical Research Institute will have a field trip for its members on Saturday, Sept. 11, to Clayton. The group plans to tour the restored Eklund Hotel at 1 p.m. and the Herzstein Memorial Museum at 1:30 p.m. The group will leave the Tucumcari Historical Museum at 416 S. Adams at 9:30 a.m. Those attending may either choose to bring a picnic lunch to be eaten at the airport park or eat at one of the cafes in Clayton.
