The Tucumcari High School football team is looking to go 3-0 for the season when the Estancia Bears host the Rattlers Friday Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. Tucumcari has beaten Mora 42-6 and Crownpoint 42-8. Estancia is 0-2, with losses to NMMI and Laguna. Coach Mike Draper of Estancia said his Bears must contain Tucumcari’s team speed. “We’ve got to contain (Chris) MCasland and (Eric) Holt,” said Draper, “and we’ve got to contain their big fullback (Michael Baca). We will have to gang tackle.”
