The Tucumcari Community Blood Drive will be taking place Saturday, Sept. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Tucumcari High School Gymnasium. It is being sponsored by Tucumcari High School. The coordinator for the activity, Tim Gutierrez, said he looks forward to as many people as possible coming buy the gymnasium and donating blood. “We really want people to take part,” said Gutierrez of the blood drive. Gutierrez said a number of different high school organizations will be helping during the drive.
