State police increase patrols

New Mexico State Police will be out in force over the holidays looking for intoxicated motorists and drivers not wearing their seat belts.
According to a press release, state police will be conducting saturation patrols throughout New Mexico. Checkpoints will also be set up throughout the state.
State police also wanted to remind motorists that the legal Blood Alcohol Content in New Mexico is .08. For those under 21, the legal limit is .02.
