Paul Hyer Hill Paul Hyer Hill, 69, died Sunday Dec. 26, 2004 in Tucumcari. Paul Hill was born on February 4, 1935 to Charles Peter and Zelma Lee (Hyer) Hill in Capulin. He grew up in that area and attended schools in Capulin and Des Moines before graduating from Clayton High School. He Married Juanita Guy Perkins on July 23, 1954. They lived in Clayton and Raton before moving back to Capulin. They moved to Tucumcari in 1986 where Paul was the foreman of a New Mexico State Highway Maintenance crew until retiring. Paul HIll was also a artist specializing in western and commercial art. He was also a musician playing professionally for 23 years. He was preceded in death by his father, his mother and a brother, Thomas Leonard Hill who died in infancy. He is survived by his wife Juanita Guy HIll of Tucumcari; a daughter, Debra Lee Frazier of Carson City, Nev.; a son, Charles Freeman Hill (Sharon) of Lexington, Olk.; a sister, Sharlene Lee Naglich (Martin) of Pueblo, Colo.; a brother, William HIll (Mary Jo) of Hagerman. He is also survived by five grandchildren. Raymond Kroeker Raymond Kroeker, 76, died on Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004 following an extended illness. Raymond Kroeker was born Feb. 5, 1928 Clinton, Okla. He had been a long-time resident of Tucumcari. He was a member of the Third Street Church of Christ. He had been a truck driver and had been in the United States Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by a son Timothy R. Kroeker and a daughter Shirley H. Strope and by three brothers. He is survived by his wife Mary Helen Kroeker of Tucumcari; two sons, Leslie Fisk (Lynda) of Dumas, Texas and Wesley Fisk (Patsy) of Albuquerque; two daughters, Dainetta Kroeker (Kenneth Henderson) of Tucumcari and Karen Aragon (Jose) of Espanola; a brother, Alvin Kroeker (Anna Mae) of Smithville, Mo. Funeral services were this morning (Wednesday) at 10 a.m. at the Third Street Church of Christ with Michael Smith officiating. Following the services interment will be at the San Jon Cemetery in San Jon. Donations may go to either the Third Street Church of Christ or Helping Hands Hospice.
