Lloyd Ray Hampton Lloyd Ray Hampton, 59, of Tucumcari, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2005, at his home. He was born on May 28, 1946, in Clovis, to Gus and Lillis Hampton. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad and owned his own truck for hauling cattle. For the past 12 years he drove for Bell Gas of Roswell. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Larry and H.D. Hampton. Survivors include his wife, Becky Hampton; a son, Chad Hampton (and wife, Patti) of Dalhart, Texas; a daughter, Adrianne Lacki (Bob) of Arlington, Texas; a grandson, Wyatt Hampton of Dalhart; two step-children, Charles George (Tracy) and Cheryl Sellers (Casey) all of Tucumcari; two sisters, Garthalene Shaw of Yukon, Okla. and Nedra Kling of Lakewood, N.Y.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Angel Fund at Helping Hands Hospice, 615 S. 2nd St., Tucumcari, NM. 88401. Arrangements are by Direct Funeral Services of Albuquerque. Patricio Page Patricio Page, 67, of Tucumcari, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005, at Trigg Memorial Hospital in Tucumcari. He was born on Sept. 8, 1937, in Puerto De Luna, to Joe and Marcelina Baca Page. He was raised and attended schools in Puerto De Luna. He made his home in Tucumcari several years ago where he was employed with the City of Tucumcari. Family members said he loved to play pool and dominoes. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Joe Page; a grandson, Anthony Dwayne Page; a brother, Richard Page; and a sister, Carmen Cordova. Survivors include five children, Lawrence Page of Bosque Farms, Loretta Ortiz (and husband, Manuel) and Patty Page all of Tucumcari, Gloria Oage and Mary Villescas (Omar) all of Albuquerque; two brothers, Cecilio Page (Ann) of Puerto De Luna and Frank Page (Bertha) of Albuquerque; a sister, Lena Dodge (Antonio) of Santa Rosa; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Burial was at Nuestro Senora de Regugio Cemetary in Puerta De Luna. Arrangements are by Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa. Patricio Elevario Patricio Elevario, 56, of Santa Rosa, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, in Las Vegas, N.M. He was born on April 5, 1948, in Tucumcari, to Delfido Elevario and the former Aurora P. Lopez. He was raised at New Kirk and Santa Rosa. He graduation from Santa Rosa High School in 1968. For 17 years he worked as a Department of Transportation Inspector at the San Jon Port of Entry. He also worked as an escort driver. He was a lifelong Catholic and a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Santa Rosa. He was a member of the Tucumcari Knights of Columbus. Family members said he enjoyed reading, being with his family and friends and he also loved to travel. He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Sylvia Gonzales; and a brother-in-law, Tim Ulibarri. Survivors include his mother; three brothers, Joe H. Elevario (and wife, Jennie) of Tucumcari, George Elevario (Virginia) of Albuquerque, and Albert Elevario (Vera) of Santa Rosa; four sisters, Gloria Martinez (Patrick), Esther Blea, Viola Ulibarri of Santa Rosa and Monica Urban (Gerald) of Pampa; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Burial was at St. Joseph Cemetary in Santa Rosa. Arrangements are by Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa. David L. Valverde David L. Valverde, 43, of Albuquerque, died Jan. 11, 2005, in Albuquerque. Mr. Valverde was born April 14, 1961, in Tucumcari. He is survived by his mother, Sarah Valverde, of Tucson, Ariz.; two brothers, Matthew Valverde and Christopher Valverde of Albuquerque; one sister, Diane Martinez, of Chama; five uncles, one aunt and numerous cousins and friends. Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. today at St. Anne Catholic Church. Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Anne’s. Interment will be at Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
