Virginia Solano Sisneros

Virginia Solano Sisneros, 73, died in Amarillo on March 21 following a long illness. Sisneros, a former Tucumcari resident, was a homemaker. She was born on Oct. 1, 1931 in Amarillo. Survivors include her husband of 52 year Tony of Amarillo; her children, Anthony Sisneros (and wife Ausgustina) of Amarillo, Blasie Sisneros (Yvette) of Tucumcari, Mark Sisneros (Josephine) of Amarillo, Virginia Christian of Amarillo, Dianna Clayton (Randy) of Amarillo, Alex Sisneros (Victoria) of Tucumcari, and Audrey Hakate (Jim) of Amarillo; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers John Solano and Mike Solano, both of Amarillo; and two sisters, Edna Dodminguez and Dela Chavez, both of Amarillo. Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated March 23, 2005 in the St. Laurence Cathedral in Amarillo with Bishop L.T. Mathiesen and Deacon Pete Valdez as celebrants.
