His great-grand parents are Raymond and Lena Borquez of Tucumcari and Filomena and the late Victor Pacheco of Tucumcari and Steve and the late Frances Sandoval of Tucumcari. His Nino is Jake Jimenez Jr. of Tucumcari and his Nina is Stephanie Gonzales of Corpus Christi, Texas. Dustin Wayne Bryant celebrates his first birthday today, April 16, 2005. Dustin’s parents are Brad and Julie Bryant of Tucumcari. Dylan is Dustin’s big brother. His grandparents are Duwayne and Tommy Bryant and Monty and Beverly Sasser, all of Tucumcari. Louie and Mary Ann Molinas of Tucumcari celebrate their 25th anniversary today, April 16, 2005 at 2 p.m. St. Anne’s Church, with a reception and dance to follow at the Elk’s Lodge. Louie and Mary Anne were married April 12, 1980 in Tucumcari. They have five children and 14 grandchildren. Clay Allen Carter celebrated his seventh birthday in Tucumcari with family and friends. Clay was born in Tucumcari. His birthday was April 15. His mom is Ana “Betty” Gardea of Tucumcari. He brother is Casey Nasario Carter. His grandparents are Marcelo and Silvia Gardea of Tucumcari, Mable Carter of Tucumcari and Charles Carter of Roswell. Issac Martinez celebrated his seventh birthday in Amarillo at Chuck-E Cheeze with family and friends. Issac was born in Tucumcari. His birthday was April 5. His parents are Raquel Munoz and Joseph Martinez of Tucumcari. He has one brother, Josiah and three sisters, Amaya, Mariah and Devanee. His grandparents are Marylou and Raul Munoz of Tucumcari. Donna M. Garcia, a student at Mesalands Community College, was one of two students nominated to the USA TODAY All-State Academic Team for 2005, an award presented by USA TODAY, New Mexico Community Colleges, The Association of Community Colleges and Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. She receive the honor during Community College Day at the state capitol. Donna was also accepted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Beta Eta Omega chapter at Mesalands on March 22. Donna was nominated to the National Dean’s List. She is the daughter of Candido Garcia and Mary Munoz of Tucumcari. Donna, a 1989 graduate of Tucumcari High School, will graduate with an associates degree in Criminal Justice in May and will pursue a bachelors and masters degree in social work with and emphasis in criminology and New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas. Clint and Shonda Ursey of Logan, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Ashley Ursey to Seth Bebout, son of Jill Bebout of Logan and John Bebout of Dumas, Texas. The couple will be joined in marriage on June 18 at Caprock Creek Ranch in a double-ring ceremony performed by Roy Mitchell. Sammie Flowers will be the maid of honor, and John Bebout will be the best man. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jack and Brendia Ursey of Logan and Bill and Joan Flowers of Wilderado, Texas. The prospective groom is the grandson of Lee Farr of Amarillo and Jack and Jodie Bebout of Dumas. Ashley and Seth will graduate from Logan High School in 2005. After graduation they will move to Goodwell, Olka. where Ashley will be attending Oklahoma Panhandle State University in pursuit of a nursing degree and Seth will be working on a local ranch.
