Fishing Report, June 11

New Mexico Game and Fish Department fishing report Conchas Lake Fishing slowed a bit this week for all species. A few white bass were taken by anglers trolling and casting crank baits and sassy shad. A few walleye were taken on curly tail grubs and bottom bouncer/crawler rigs. Some black bass were taken on salt craws, lizards, jerk baits and top water lures. We had no reports on other species. Ute Lake The Ute Lake marina has closed temporarily but the boat ramps are open and in good condition. Fishing was fair to good this past week for anglers trolling for white bass. They were using sassy shad and crank baits. Fishing was fair using jerk baits and assorted plastics for black bass. Fishing was fair using bottom bouncer/crawler rigs, sassy shad and crank baits for walleye. Fishing was fair to good using liver and shrimp for catfish.
