Marion Berry Services: Funeral services have taken place. Marion Berry, 74, died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005, in Albuquerque. He was born on Feb. 26, 1931, in Tucumcari. He had been an active member of the First Baptist Church in Tucumcari and was retired from the Union Pacific Railroad Company where he had been an engineer for more than 30 years. He also served in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by four sons, Keith Berry of Alamogordo, Kevin Berry of Albuquerque, Jared Berry of Chicago, and Prentice Berry of Columbia, Missouri; his brother, Chester (Mack) Berry of Crestline, Calif.; and six grandchildren. The family said donations may be made to the Red Cross Katrina Relief Fund, the Gideons or to the First Baptist Church building fund in his memory. Arrangements were by Dunn Funeral Home. Esther Casados Services: 10 a.m. today at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Gallegos. Esther J. Casados, 78, died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2005, in Tucumcari. She was born March 2, 2005, in Albert, N.M., to Juan and Juanita Montano. She was married to Abran (Abe) Casados in 1945. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Gallegos. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Elia Ramirez and Christine Cordova (and husband Tommy) all of Albuquerque; one son, Bobby Casados (Judy) of Gallegos; six grandchildren, Charlotte Jaramillo, Tommy Joe Cordova, Larry Cordova, Renea Griego, Chris Cordova, and Beverly Ramirez; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one sister, Petra Wilson of Broomfield, Colo.; two boys she and her husband reared, Johnny Arguello of Los Lunas and Charley Gallegos of Texas; along with nieces and nephews. Mass of the Resurrection will be offered by Rev. Fr. Leo Padget. Pall bearers will be Tommy Joe Cordova, Larry Cordova, Charlotte Jaramillo, Renea Griego, Chris Cordova, Beverly Ramirez, Charley Gallegos and Johnny Arguello. Burial will be at the Gallegos Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari. Paul Vigil Services: 7 p.m. Sunday in the St. Anne's Catholic Church in Tucumcari a rosary will be recited. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. on Monday in the Bueyeros Catholic Church in Bueyeros. Paul J. Vigil, 92, of Tucumcari died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005, in Amarillo, Texas. He was born March 19, 1913, in Bueyeros. He was a rancher, cattleman and member of the St. Anne's Catholic Church in Tucumcari. He is survived by two daughters, Terry Santistevan of Denver, Colo., and Dorothy Fong of Maryland; one son, Richard Vigil of Denver, Colo.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Burial will be in the family plot of the Bueyeros Cemetery next to the Bueyeros Catholic Church. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home in Tucumcari.
