Glenn Gardner Services: 11 a.m. on Monday at Dunn Memorial Chapel in Tucumcari. Glenn Ray Gardner, 61, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005, in Tucumcari. He was born January 31, 1944, to Clifton and May Bridges Gardner in Tucumcari. He was retired from the Arch Hurley Conservancy District and member of Tucumcari’s Trinity Baptist Church. Family members said he enjoyed looking for arrowheads, fishing, hunting and gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Frances Gardner, of Tucumcari; two daughters, Lola Gardner of Utah and Melissa Ashcraft (and husband, Lewis) of Corpus Christi; one son, Ray Gardner of Amarillo; three stepsons, Edward Lopez of Tucumcari, Anthony Lopez and Christopher Lopez (Liz) of Roswell; one stepdaughter, Susan Lopez of Farmington; one sister, Genevieve Brown of Tucumcari; 16 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rev. Bob Civil, Baptist Minister of Canyon, Texas, will be officiating the services. Pall bearers will be Johnny Irving, Dallas Dowell, Robert Curtis, Donald Carter, Wayne Morris and Christopher Lopez. Burial will be in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari.
