The following is a sampling of calls received by the Tucumcari police during the past several days. According to the reports: Friday At 1:14 a.m., a male reported a suspicious subject on Fifth Street. Police arrived to find the subject had knocked on the caller’s door and ran away. They were unable to locate such subject. At 8:07 a.m., an unknown female called to report damage to property at a school. Police on the scene found an unknown person had tried to take a vehicle and it rolled backwards, damaging the property. At 1:19 p.m., an unknown female reported a domestic violence situation on East Smith. Police arrived to find a verbal. At 2:10 p.m., a male reported a domestic violence situation was reported at an apartment complex. The subjects left prior to police arrival. At 6:10 p.m., a possible domestic violence situation was reported on North Monroe that led to the arrest of a female. At 9:18 p.m., an unknown male reported an accident with injuries on Interstate 40. Police arrived to find a rollover. Medics were paged to attend to the injured. Saturday At 6:22 a.m., a male reported vandalism on South First. Police on the scene found a trailer’s doorknob had been removed. At 7:32 a.m., an open door was reported on West Center. Police arrived to find the owner was not home. At 4:44 p.m., OnStar alerted police that a panic button had been pushed in a vehicle on Main Street. Police located the vehicle and found the button had been pushed on accident; all was OK. At 7:30 p.m., an unknown female reported a domestic violence situation in a club parking lot. Police on the scene found an argument between a male, who wanted to stay, and a female, who wanted to leave. The latter was taken home. At 8:07 p.m., a female called to report a domestic violence situation on South Third. Police arrived to find a verbal; the parties agreed to stay away from each other. At 9:30 p.m., a female reported a possible prowler on South Adams. Police on the scene made contact with the subject, who was in the caller’s yard and wearing a trench coat. At 10:33 p.m., a female called to report a female on South 10th flagging down vehicles. Police arrived to find no such situation. At 10:39 p.m., a male reported kids throwing items at a delivery vehicle. Police arrived and were shown where the kids had been standing but were unable to locate the kids. Sunday At 6:13 a.m., an unknown female reported a domestic violence situation on South Third between a male and a female. Police on the scene asked the female to leave. At 12:49 p.m., a female came to the station to press charges in a domestic violence situation. Although she had visible marks of violence, she ended up changing her mind and no charges were filed. At 9:31 p.m., a caller reported a power outage on West Heman. Police on the scene found all but one house had no electricity.
