Ruth Hodson Services: Have been held. Audrey Ruth Hodson, 84, died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005, in Redlands, Calif. She was born on Oct. 13, 1921, in Tucumcari. After her father died, she helped her mother run a local hotel that housed mainly railroad engineers, and later they ran a boarding house. She graduated from Redondo High School 1939 and married Ray Hodson on June 14, 1940. They moved to Redlands in 1944, where she was active in Cub Scouts as a den mother and in the parent group at Sacred Heart School. She became head of the alteration department of the Harris Co. Store in Redlands and ran a seamstress business from her home. Her family said she loved gardening, sewing and needlework. She is survived by her sons, Paul Hodson of Rolla, Mo., Bob Hodson of Thousand Oaks, Calif., David Hodson of Licking, Mo., and Don Hodson of Atlanta, Ga.; daughters, Dodie Farmer of Redlands and Joan Hodson of Neosho, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Services were held at Hillside Memorial Park in Redlands. Arrangements were by Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel of Redlands. Sandra Sullivan Services: Have been held. Sandra (Sandie) Kay (Chambers) Sullivan, 65, died Nov. 24, 2005, in Tucumcari. She was born on June 2, 1940, on Pearson, Okla., to Edith and Woodrow Chambers. She attended schools in Oklahoma and in Sanford and Borger, Texas, and worked at Texas State Optical and Lenscrafters for many years. While living in Logan, she worked at and managed the Ranch House Cafe and the Yucca Motel. Her family said she had a soft spot for kids and animals. She was preceded in death by her father, her mother and two sisters, Bonnie Murphy and Barbara Kenny, and a brother, George Chambers. She is survived by a sister, Donna Shivers White of Logan; two brothers, Charles Chambers of Skellytown, Texas, and Woodrow Chambers Jr. of Lubbock; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Services were held at the First Baptist Church in Logan.
