Juan Maestas Services: Have been held. Juan L. Maestas, 76, died on Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, in Tucumcari. He was born on Sept. 9, 1929, in Mills, N.M. A member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, he was retired from the auto body repair industry, having lived in Santa Rosa and Clovis before moving to Tucumcari. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abe Don and Ramona Maestas, and his brother, Gene Maestas. He is survived by his daughter, Judy Prieto, of Clovis; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his sister, Rose Arellano of Tucumcari. A mass was offered at St. Anne's Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Leo Padget officiating. Cremation has taken place, with burial in the family plot of the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements were by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari.
