Girls softball registrations coming The Tucumcari Recreation Center is taking registrations for girls softball. Girls age 7 to 16 are eligible to play. Signups are through March 24 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Tucumcari Recreation Center, 900 E. Laughlin. For information, call 461-1647. NAYS holding hoops tournament North American Youth Sports announced several openings for its annual spring youth basketball tournament April 21-23 at Sandia High School in Albuquerque. The tournament features five brackets each for boys and girls, depending on their current year in school: grades 5-6, seventh-grade, eighth-grade, grades 9-10 and grades 11-12.
