The following is a sample of calls received by the Tucumcari police during the last few days. According to the reports:
Thursday
• At 9:33 a.m., a female reported harassment. An officer advised her to fil• out a statement regarding a man she said was harassing her.
• At 11:24 a.m., a male reported an accident at a restaurant. Two semi trucks hit each other. Information cards were exchanged.
• At 12:40 p.m., a male reported an accident at a convenience store. A gas pump was damaged. The reporting officer said somebody had accidentally driven off with the nozzle stil• in the vehicle’s gas tank.
• At 1:53 p.m., a female reported a hit and run at the police station. An officer said the damage was done to the right bottom of the vehicle, and could not have been done by a hit and run.
• At 5:30 p.m., an alarm sounded at a school. The building was secure.
• At 8:48 p.m., a male reported loud music at Jackson. Two people in the alley were told to turn the music down.
• At 9:15 p.m, a female reported a domestic dispute at an apartment complex. There was an argument between a man and a woman, and the man was told not to return for the rest of the night.
• At 10:23 p.m., a female reported a suspicious vehicle at Max Street. Nothing was found.
• At 11:04 p.m., a male reported a suspicious vehicle at a convenience store. The caller was locking up for the night and didn’t fee• right about a vehicle in the area. An officer checked the situation and determined everything was fine.
Friday
• At 4:18 a.m., an officer reported an open window at a business. An officer determined no breaking and entering had taken place.
