Services: Have been held. Phyllis Allen, 95, died June 14, 2006 at Elizabeth Jane Bivins Home for the aged in Amaraillo. Mrs. Allen was born November 9, 1910 in Bellview to John and Agnes Phillips. She worked as a nurse. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse F. Allen in 1986, a minister of Lesbia Baptist Church. Mrs. Allen was a former resident of Clovis and Lesbia. Mrs. Allen is survived by two sisters, Willie Ann (Everett) Jones and Leatha J. London both of Amarillo and two nephews. Burial was at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Clovis. Arrangements were by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Amarillo.
