Florida man dies in I-40 crash

A Florida man was killed on Sunday, Father’s Day, in an accident on I-40 at the eastbound 330 mile marker, according to a release by New Mexico State Police.
Killed was Michael Hearn, 56, of Merritt Island, Fla.
Injured in the accident were Rose Hearn, 55, and Daniel Hearn, 27, also of Merritt Island. The two were listed in stable condition, according to the police statement. Two children involved in the accident were not injured.
The family was traveling in a 2004 Ford Explorer when it drifted across the centerline, left lane into the north paved shoulder, according to the release. The driver over-corrected and eventually the car overturned three-and-a-half times, the police investigation found.
