Lena Mae Bridges-Clem Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Lena Mae Bridges-Clem, 49, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006 at her home in Tucumcari. She was a home maker and a member of the Baptist Church . Survivors include her husband Billy L Clem of Tucumcari; a son Timothy Clem of Tucumcari; four daughters, Jennifer Lowery of New Mexico, Barbara Bridges of Kentucky, Shellann Rusk of Colorado and Neroli Flores of Texas; her parents, Verney Lee and Margie Ball of Texas; two brothers Ted Ball of Arkansas and Jim Ball of New Mexico; a sister Leanna Ball of New Mexico and grandchildren Braxton Bridges, David Loery and Nicole Bridges. Clark Cantrell will officiate services. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari. Mernell Birch Services: 2:30 p.m. today at Center Street United Methodist Church. Mernell Birch, 67, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2006 at her home in Tucumcari. She was born May 8, 1939 in Slayton, Texas. She was retired from the Comcast-Century Cable TV company where for many years she had been the office manager. She had been a member of the Center Street United Methodist Church, a member of the Epislon Sigma Alpha Sorority and a member of the B.P.O. Elks Does Drove in Tucumcari. Survivors include her husband, Jack Birch; two daughters, Cindy Birch of Tucumcari and Devona L. (Joseph) Martinez of Albuquerque; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Eugene Pinkert of Amarillo and two sisters, Pearl Watkins of Prescott, Ariz., and Gertrude Vansant of Moriarty. Tom Broom will officiate services. Burial will follow at Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari. Olimpia Jasper Services: A mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Tucumcari. Olimpia Jasper, former long-time resident of Tucumcari died Aug. 29 in Colorado Springs, Colo., following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pablo Jasper, and by her son Tony Jasper. Survivors include two daughters; Mary Munoz of Clovis and Perfy Enochs of Oklahoma; five sons, Chris (Dee) Jasper of Logan, Lewis (Judy) Jasper and Joe (Juila) Jasper, both of Tucumcari, Eusebio Jasper of Clovis and Jimmy (Jean) Jasper of Lubbock, Texas and numerous grand- and great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari.
