Gilbertson grabs votes...John Gilbertson won the popular referendum for the Pricinct 2 position on the board of the Arch Hurley Conservancy District, said Larry Perkins, board chairman. “It was a close race,” Perkins said. Gilbertson recieved 3,658 votes versus Donald Bidegain who recieved 3,221 votes, Perkins said. At a special meeting of the board on Friday, the board appointed Gilbertson after counting the votes. Perkins said. Gilbertson will be sworn in at the board's 9 a.m. Tuesday meeting at the district's headquarters.
