LaVonne "Bonnie" Bruhn Paulk Services:10 a.m., today, graveside services will be at the Llano Cemetery, Amarillo, Texas. LaVonne "Bonnie" Bruhn Paulk, 83, died Monday Nov. 27, 2006. in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Paulk was born Aug.18, 1923 in Logan, N.M. to Elmor and Myrtle Casey Bruhn. She married Kindel Paulk in Tucumcari on March 21, 1944. Survivors include a daughter, Dianna Dollins, one brother; August Bruhn, two sisters, Joyce Mitchell and Hazel Nichols, four grandchildren, Billy, Kim, Jerry and Bobby; two great-granddaughters, Sharla and Shalane. Family members said she loved her Pekingese, Tiny. Don Heddin will officiate at the services. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home of Amarillo. Jose Vigil Services: 7 p.m., Wednesday, recitation of the rosary at the Logan Catholic Church. At 10 a.m., Thursday a Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at the Logan Catholic Church. Jose Vigil, 85, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006, at his home in Logan following an extended illness. Mr. Vigil was born July 12, 1921 at Alamosa, N.M. He had lived all of his life in Logan. He was a member of the Logan Catholic Church and had been employed by the Village of Logan. Surviving Mr. Vigil are four children: JoAnn (Ricardo) Moralez, John (Ruby) Vigil, Patrick Vigil and Lita Chavez, and Mary Chavez. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Mike Moralez, Sacha (Clay) McClure, Amanda Vigil, Patrick Vigil, Jamie Vigil and Adrianna Chavez, and seven great-grandchildren, Chase Moralez, Melissa Moralez, Jarred Moralez, Jordan Gutierrez, Tyann Gutierrez, Kylie Ornales and Alyson McClure. Leo Padget will officiate at the services. The family suggests, for those who wish, that donations may be made to the Tucumcari Helping Hands Hospice or to the Logan Volunteer Ambulance at Logan, N.M. Following his wishes, Jose Vigil has been cremated. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari. Alvin Lee Ward, Sr. Services: 10 a.m. , Wednesday, a memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church, in Tucumcari o Alvin Lee Ward, Sr., age 68, of Clovis, N.M, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006 at the Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. He was born Nov. 3, 1938 to Vester and Frances Mary Bogart Ward in Tucumcari. He married Neoma Johnson in 1968 in Tucumcari. He served in the Army during the Vietnam Era, and was employed as a foreman/cashier at the Tucumcari Truck Stop. He was a member of the Baptist Faith; and his hobbies were observing cars - hot rods, and traveling. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Fuselier of Portales, NM; a son, Lee Ward of Tucumcari; two grandchildren, Danika Fuselier, and David Fuselier; three sisters, Donna Ward of Austin, Texas; JoAnn Barlow of El Paso, Texas; and Mary Bond of Grandbury, Texas; and one brother, Robert Ward of Tucumcari. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and one brother, Glen Ward. Dick Ross will officiate at the service. Cremation has taken place and burial will follow services at Tucumcari Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
