Orlando Victor “Joe” Alarcon Services: 10 a.m., today a Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Orlando Victor “Joe” Alarcon, 86, died at his residence in Tucumcari following an extended illness. Mr. Alarcon was born March 7, 1920 in Tucumcari. He was a member of the St. Anne’s Catholic Church. He was retired from the New Mexico Highway Department. Mr. Alarcon served his country during WWII with the U.S. Army 804 Tank Destroyers. Surviving Mr. Alarcon are his wife, Mary Alarcon of Tucumcari, and two sons, Robert (Karen) Alarcon of Tucumcari and Kevin (Cherie) of Dumas, Texas. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Dana, Ronda,Wesley, Jeremy, Barbara and Ryan, and his brother, Jimmy Alarcon. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari. Lynn Taylor-Lowe Lynn Taylor-Lowe, a resident of Tucumcari since 1991, died Thursday, Dec. 7, at her home following an extended illness. She was born in Houston, Texas, to Willad and Yanoula McCool. Surviving is her husband, Richard Lowe of Tucumcari. Following her wishes, she has been cremated. A memorial service will be held later in Houston. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari.
