The following is a sample of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department, during the last few days. According to reports:
Friday
• At 4:29 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on East McGee Street for failure to stop at a stop sign. A male juvenile was issued a citation for minor in possession of alcohol.
Saturday
• At 11:54 a.m., an alarm was reported at a pharmacy on South Second Street. An officer checked the building and all was OK.
• At 12:45 p.m., a male requested officer at a restaurant on South First Street. An officer was told that a dispute had occurred earlier in the day. One male subject was arrested for battery on a household member.
l At 10:04 p.m., a female reported vandalism at her residence on South Fourth Street. An officer advised that the rear window of a vehicle had been shot out.
Sunday
• At 1:46 a.m., a female reported a unwanted subject at her residence on South Adams. One male subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting and evading arrest.
• At 2:38 p.m., an officer reported vandalism at a business on East Tucumcari Boulevard. The officer advised that a window on the south side of the business had been broken out.
• At 8:42 p.m., a female reported a domestic dispute behind her residence on South First Street. An officer was told that a male and female were fighting in the alley and throwing things at each other. The officer made contact with the subjects and arrested the female for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamines.
• At 9:21 a.m., a female reported a possible burglary at a residence on South Fourth Street. An officer advised that a window had been broken out but the owner was unsure if anything was missing.
• At 10:22 a.m., a male subject reported larceny at his residence on South Fourth Street. An officer advised that a speaker box and amplifier had been removed from the car.
• At 5:11 p.m., an officer served a warrant at an apartment on West Hancock Street. One male subject was arrested on two outstanding Magistrate Court warrants for failure to appear and failure to pay fines.
Monday
• At 9:54 a.m., a female reported vandalism at the library on South Second Street. An officer advised that the north side door had been shot out.
