The following is a sample of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department, during the last few days. According to reports: Saturday • At 12:46 a.m., a male reported a fight at a lounge on West Tucumcari Boulevard. An officer advised all was OK. The parties involved had left the area prior to their arrival. • At 12:55 a.m., an alarm was reported at a lodge on South First Street. An officer advised that a window was open. The building was checked and all was OK. • At 9:10 a.m., a female reported vandalism at an apartment on South Seventh Street. An officer advised that four tires on a vehicle had been slashed. • At 9:52 a.m., a traffic stop on Laughlin Street lead to the arrest of the male driver for driving while his license was revoked. • At 1:55 p.m., a traffic stop on East Tucumcari Boulevard lead to the arrest of a male driver for possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and driving while his license was revoked. • At 8 p.m., a male reported a domestic dispute at his residence on South Seventh Street. One female was arrested for battery on a household member. • At 8:26 p.m., a traffic stop on South Adams Street lead to the arrest of one male for an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant for driving under the influence. • At 10:40 p.m., a female reported possible narcotics use at an apartment on South Seventh Street. A male and female were cited for possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Sunday • At 4:49 p.m., a female reported vandalism on East High Street. An officer was told that a juvenile male had slashed the back tires. The officer located the juvenile and he was turned over to the juvenile probation office. • At 6:35 p.m., a male reported suspicious activity on East High Street. An officer was told that a male subject was turning the power off to the residence and leaving. Monday • At 12:58 p.m., a female reported vandalism at her residence on South Seventh Street. An officer advised that several juveniles had damaged a fence at the residence. An investigation is under way.
