The following is a sample of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department, during the last few days. According to reports:
Friday
• At 3:18 p.m., a male reported a burglary at his residence on East Main Street. An officer was told that a bed, heater and some antiques were stolen. An investigation is under way.
Saturday
• At 12:59 a.m., a female reported a stolen vehicle on South Rock Island Street. An officer was told that a juvenile male had taken the truck without her permission. The vehicle was located and a male juvenile was arrested for driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle without a license. The case was turned over to the juvenile probation office and the juvenile was released to his parents.
• At 1:19 a.m., a female reported an unwanted subject at her residence on South Rock Island Street. An officer made contact with a male subject and advised him to leave.
•At 7:39 a.m., an alarm was reported at a restaurant on South First Street. An officer advised that the building was secure and all was OK.
• At 11:18 a.m., a male reported vandalism at his residence on South Jackson. An officer advised that the front and rear windshield of the vehicle had been broken out.
• At 5:01 p.m., an officer reported a domestic dispute at a park on East Tucumcari Boulevard. One male subject was arrested for two outstanding Magistrate Court warrants.
• At 10:52 p.m., a male reported vandalism at a residence on West Hines Street. An officer advised that the rear window was broken out.
• At 11:12 p.m., a male reported loud music at a residence on East Barnes. An officer made contact with the owners of the residence and two male subjects were cited for possession of marijuana.
Sunday
• At 8:58 a.m., a male reported vandalism on East High Street. An officer advised that the windshield of a vehicle had been busted out by a baseball bat and the bat was left behind. An investigation is under way.
• At 9:12 a.m., an officer served a municipal warrant on a male subject at a restaurant on East Tucumcari Boulevard.
• At 3:14 p.m., a female reported a domestic dispute at a residence on South Monroe Street. An officer advised that it was a verbal argument only. Both parties were separated for the night.
• At 10:16 p.m. a male reported a domestic assault at his residence on South Ninth Street. An officer advised that a juvenile male had assaulted a family member. The juvenile was charged with battery on a household member. The juvenile was released to his parents and the case was turned over to the juvenile probation office.
Monday
• At 7:06 a.m., a male subject reported a burglary at a auto dealership on Aber Street. An officer was told that a cash box and computer was stolen. An investigation is under way.
• At 1:55 p.m., a male reported vandalism at an apartment on South Seventh Street. An officer was told that the cable box for the entire apartment building had been broken into; The officer was also told it was the second time in two weeks it had happened. An investigation is under way.
