According to reports: Tuesday • At 9:58 p.m., a deputy served a warrant for aggravated battery at a residence on Quay Road AY. One male subject was arrested and taken to the Quay County Detention Center. • At 5:16 p.m., an officer stopped a male subject riding on a dirt bike on public roads in front of a restaurant on East Tucumcari Boulevard. The officer arrested the male subject after dispatch told him there was an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant for failure to comply with probation. • At 6:17 p.m., a male reported vandalism on South Monroe Street. An officer advised that the back window of a van had been shot out by a BB gun. • At 9:08 p.m., a female reported an unwanted subject at a residence on East Barnes Street. An officer advised a male subject to leave and not return. Wednesday • At 8:50 a.m., a female reported a wanted subject at the DWI office on South Third Street. An officer advised that one male subject was arrested for failure to pay fines. • At 5 p.m., a female reported possible narcotics use at an apartment on South First Street. An officer advised that residents of the apartment were contacted and no narcotics were found in the apartment. • At 5:51 p.m., a female reported an unattended child walking down South Monroe Street. An officer advised that the child was located and returned to the child's parents. • At 8:52 p.m., a female reported suspicious activity at a residence on South Monroe. An officer was told that a vehicle was parked in front of a vacant house and a light was on in the house. The officer advised that the vehicle was no longer in the area and the residence was secure. • At 9:56 p.m., a male reported a fight at a lounge on West Route 66. An officer advised that the parties involved in the fight had left the building prior to their arrival. Thursday • At 7:07 a.m., an alarm was reported at a bank on South Martinez Street. An officer advised that the bank was closed and the building was secure. • At 8:08 a.m., a male reported a burglary on West Hancock Street. An officer advised that the back window of a vehicle had been broken out and a stereo was taken from the car. An investigation is under way. • At 11:37 a.m., a female reported finding drug paraphernalia at a hotel on East Route 66. An officer advised that the paraphernalia was properly disposed of.
