The following is a sample of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department, during the last few days. According to reports:
Friday
l At 1:11 a.m., a male reported a battery at residence on East Smith Street. An officer was told that a male subject had kicked in the door to the residence and assaulted him. An investigation is under way.
l At 3:55 p.m., a female reported a domestic dispute at an apartment on South Seventh Street. An officer advised that one of the subjects involved had left the area prior to their arrival.
l At 9:33 p.m., an officer cited two juvenile males for minor in possession and an open container on South Rock Island Street.
l At 10:22 p.m., an officer conducted a routine traffic stop on South Eleventh Street. One male subject was arrested for a Magistrate Court warrant.
l At 11:22 p.m., a male reported a disturbance at the bus station on South First Street. An officer advised that it was a dispute between the bus driver and a passenger and that the problem had been resolved.
Saturday
l At 9:36 a.m., a male reported a theft at a construction business on County Road AR. An officer was told that several rolls of aluminum worth $3,500 had been taken. An investigation is under way.
l At 4:36 p.m., an officer served a warrant on South Rock Island Street. One male juvenile was arrested for aggravated burglary, conspiracy, larceny and tampering with evidence.
l At 9:03 p.m., a female reported a domestic dispute at a residence on East Laughlin Street. An officer advised that a male had left prior to the officer’s arrival and was going to stay at a different location for the night.
Sunday
l At 6:51 a.m., a medical alert alarm was reported at a residence on South Second Street. An officer advised that the resident was OK and that a low oxygen container had caused the alarm to go off.
l At 9:22 a.m., a male subject reported loud music on South Second Street. An officer made contact with the resident and advised him to turn the music down.
l At 6:56 p.m., an officer served a warrant at a car wash on South Third Street. One male subject was arrested for a warrant for failure to appear out of Clayton.
Monday
l At 5:25 a.m., an alarm was reported at a lounge on West Tucumcari Boulevard. An officer advised that all was OK that it was the morning kitchen crew that had accidentally set off the alarm.
