The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department. According to reports: Tuesday l At 3 p.m., a male reported vandalism at a residence on South Eighth Street. An officer advised that a window on the east side of the house had been broken. l At 6:32 p.m., an officer served a district warrant on South Monroe Street. A male subject was arrested for an outstanding district warrant for violating conditions of release. l At 7:15 p.m., an officer served a warrant at a residence on South Fourth Street. One male subject was taken to the Quay County Detention Center for an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant and two Municipal Court warrants. l At 8:29 p.m., a female reported a snake at a residence on East Center Street. An officer advised that it was a rattlesnake and disposed of the snake. l At 11:51 p.m., a male reported a fight at the Emergency Room on South First Street. An officer advised that it was a verbal argument over a grandchild and the two subject were going to the court in the morning. Wednesday l At 12:46 a.m., an alarm was reported at a business on West Route 66. An officer checked the building and advised that all was OK. l At 4:34 a.m., a female reported vandalism at an apartment on South First Street. An officer advised that windows on a vehicle and the apartment had been broken out. l At 10:56 p.m., an alarm was reported at a pharmacy on South Second Street. An officer advised that someone had gained entry through a window. The owners will contact the officer and tell them if anything was taken. Thursday l At 3:47 a.m., an officer reported an open window at the high school on South Eighth Street. The officer secured the window and advised that all was OK. l At 1:16 p.m., a male reported a domestic dispute at a residence on South Third Street. An officer advised that it was a verbal argument only and the male subject was leaving for the day. l At 5:52 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on West Route 66. One male subject was arrested and taken to the Quay County Detention Center for an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant. l At 7:48 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on West Tucumcari Boulevard. One female subject was arrested and taken to the Quay County Detention Center for an outstanding Municipal Court warrant.
