Donna Dominguez, Chief Deputy Treasurer, announced her candidacy this week for the office of Quay County Treasurer in the June 3 primary election. Dominguez, a resident of Quay County since 1991, has been an employee of Quay County since 1993 as County Manager Assistant/Secretary and Chief Deputy Treasurer for the past seven years. She also was elected president of the Quay County Ladies Democrat for 2008.
